William Riding is an artist and educator specialising in both figurative painting and Islamic geometry. He has a particular interest in the materials and methods of painting. 

He holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Art Painting from Winchester School of Art (2000-2004) and a Masters degree in Traditional Arts from the Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts (2011-2013).

Since graduating, William has been working for the Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts on educational projects. He has lead and developed arts and craft workshops for adults and children around the world, most recently concentrating on helping developing education programmes in Saudi Arabia.
